You’ll never be bored at Broadwater Haven. Fish from the bank, boat or beach, or simply sit back and enjoy the unspoilt natural environment. If photography is your thing, you’ll find a huge array of subjects — stunning landscapes, interesting wildlife and of course you and your family enjoying themselves! Kayaking and canoeing are also popular activates.
If you feel like a day trip, the townships of Agnes Water & 1770 are only about an hour’s drive north. Alternatively, head south for just over an hour and visit Bundaberg. Here you’ll find the fantastic Hinkler Hall of Aviation and the always popular Bundaberg Rum Factory. Be sure to book ahead if you’d like to take part in a Distillery Tour.
We are lucky enough to be regularly visited by a variety of magnificent native wildlife. We never get bored of seeing these wonderful creatures, and the feedback we receive from guests suggests they don’t either. Keep your eye out for frilled neck lizards, goannas, as well as kangaroos on the sand flats around the resort area in the early mornings. There is an abundance of native birdlife including wrens, honeyeaters, black cockatoos, as well as numerous waterbirds.
